What do parents think when u bring a new gf or bf to the family home?

Personally, my mom would be ecstatic. She really wants more grandkids. They live 4.5 hours away though, so bringing a lady home is a major undertaking. I wouldn’t do it unless I really was serious about the lady. So my parents would just be super happy.
