Sure, but my vision probably isn’t yours. You’re probably thinking of like a few spirits around us at any given time. With a few more powerful than others, a small number so powerful they can override your free will.

That’s not it at all. Spirits surround us by the millions. Each one has a unique personality just like yours. Each was human once just like you. One day when you’re completely done with physical existence, you’ll enter into this phase of life too.

God promised us eternal life, and he will keep that promise. When we reincarnate, our existing selves don’t just go away, we enter into an extended sleep, with dreams. Those dreams are spiritual existence. We float around, experiencing things in the eyes of others, contributing to their thoughts.

Depending on our phase of spiritual development, our previous spirits might rejoin us and merge completely when we die physically again. Or they might not. One’s most recent physical manifestation, that is, you, is the most connected and vital, while spirits are semi-dead husks in comparison. You’re the important one here.

And it’s important for you to retain a sense of uniqueness. Each of your previous incarnations has a life and experiences that can assist you. They’re constantly whispering into your head. This feels different to everyone and one’s experience of spiritual reality is heavily moderated by their personality and level of spiritual growth.
